Calling all un-wanted Instruments & Music Books

Have you a violin in the cupboard gathering dust? OR a trumpet needing some care, attention and a new owner?

We are putting out a pre-christmas call for any old instruments & Music books you might no longer use/need this December!

We want to expand our community music group the GD Jam, and give more people the opportunity to take up music and find a hoppy in a friendly, fun environment. To do this, we need your help!

Accepting anything ranging from Wind instruments/Percussion/Guitars, Banjos, Mandolins /Brass instruments/String instruments /Accordions/Hand drums, as long as they are close-ish to working order (please call first if you've any questions).

Some scores or teaching books from years gone by on a shelf?

We are also interested in building up our Jazz Library - a free lending resource for our Jazz School students and young people looking to learn and develop in jazz. Theory, transcriptions, history - all would be welcome! We've already built up 15 transcription books from the office, shops and music schools, but we'd like to be able to offer this free resource to the next generation of budding musicians.
