On tonight image

Tonight at the Festival Theatre (8 pm) legendary former Rolling Stones bassist Bill Wyman with his band Rhythm Kings is bringing back to live classic rhythm and blues. Rhythm Kings are joined by special guests: Hamish Steward and Andy Fairweather Low. Scotland's Queen of Blues and one of the finest female blues singers ever, Maggie Bell is opening the show.

The iconic jazz trumpeter, Christian Scott is making his debut in Edinburgh tonight (8 pm) at The Queen's Hall. Show opens South African Feya Faku Quintet.

Drummer Stu Brown premieres a brand new set of music celebrating the work of the great cartoon composers of the 20th Century at 3 Bristo Place at 8 pm.

At Palazzo Spiegeltent at 6 pm Pasadena Roof Orchestra is bringing lively mix of swing and hot dance music from the 20s and 30s and at 9 pm Nikki Hill blends all the flavours of American roots music, from country blues, gospel and rockabilly to hard rock.

At the Tron Kirk The Copper Cats (5:30 pm) present their mix of jazz and blues New Orlean style, The Rad Trads (7:30 pm) are blending early jazz with New Orlean brass band, r'n'b and the Delta Blues and The Troubles (10 pm) are inviting musicians from around the Festival to join them in celebration of the final night of this year Festival.
