The Ear Regulars 09 Jul 2017

The Ear Regulars image

New York City’s oldest bar has been serving alcohol since 1817, and now the Soho institution is also renowned as the centre for hot jazz in the city. Every week, trumpet and cornet player, Jon Erik Kellso assembles a cast of the best swing and mainstream jazz musicians to play in spontaneous get togethers. Our most swinging pianist, Brian Kellock, loves this approach, and for one night only you can experience the brilliance of the world’s best improvising, swinging jazz musicians in the relaxed, informal way they love playing best. From New York, Jon Erik Kellso and Scott Robinson; from Australia, David Blenkhorn; with Brian, and Roy Percy on bass. See a YouTube taster from Jon and Scott at The Ear Inn.

For one night only: George Square, Piccolo, Monday 17th July, 8.30pm. Click here to find out more.
